The Cavaliers Fell To Thomas Dale On Walkoff

The Cavaliers fell to Thomas Dale 4-3 on Wednesday on a single with two outs in the seventh.

The Cavaliers took an early lead in the first inning. With two outs, Jakob Burns singled to drive in two runs. William Toth also singled in the inning scoring Burns.

Bailey earned the win for Thomas Dale. He tossed seven innings, allowing three runs, nine hits, striking out four, and walking zero. Ethan Badin took the loss for the Cavaliers. He threw one-third of an inning, allowing zero runs, and one hit.

David Wallace started the game for the Cavaliers. He pitched six and a third innings, surrendering four runs, ten hits, striking out two, and walking zero.

The Cavaliers had nine hits in the game. Burns, William Toth, and Badin each collected multiple hits for the Cavaliers. Badin, Toth, and Burns each managed two hits to lead the Cavaliers. Knights pitching, however, held the cavaliers scoreless after the first inning.
